Social Worker/Case Manager Initiation of Discussion of End-of-Life Care and Permanency Planning with Clients Affected by HIV/AIDS

This one-page poster was presented at the HIV/AIDS 2002: The Social Work Response conference. The poster presents data from the pre-training assessments used to measure case manager practice and attitudes with respect to future care and custody planning issues. A recent artcle on end-of-life care for people with HIV/AIDS is also discussed, as well as recommendations for future investigation.

   

Legal Services Needs of Families Affected by HIV/AIDS

This one-page poster was accepted for presentation at the U.S. Conference on AIDS (USCA) in September 2001. The poster presents data on the assessed legal services needs of families receiving legal services from the Family Ties Project and the legal services provided to these families.
   
Permanency planning poster

Does Length of Service Provision Affect Permanency Planning Outcomes for Families Infected/Affected with HIV/AIDS?

This one-page poster was presented at the 15th Annual Social Work and AIDS Conference held in Albuquerque, NM, May 29, 2003 – June 1, 2003. Using these three families, who all experienced maternal death in the project year 06, as case studies this poster looks at their individual experiences and the factors that infl uenced their permanency planning process.
